Highschool Life

At Cornerstone Chargers School, our academic program is built on a foundation of Christian values and rigorous educational standards. We aim to nurture not only the intellectual growth of our students but also their spiritual and moral development. Our curriculum integrates biblical principles into every subject, ensuring that students receive a holistic education that prepares them for life beyond the classroom.

Our dedicated faculty comprises experienced educators who are passionate about teaching and mentoring young minds. They employ innovative teaching methods and personalized instruction to cater to the unique learning styles of each student. Small class sizes allow for individualized attention, fostering an environment where students can thrive academically and personally.

We offer a comprehensive range of subjects, including courses in mathematics, science, language arts, and social studies. In addition to core academic subjects, we provide enriching programs in the arts, physical education, technology and dual enrollment programs. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in higher education and their future careers.

We believe in the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our curriculum encourages students to ask questions, explore new ideas, and engage in collaborative learning projects. Through a variety of hands-on activities and real-world applications, students develop a deep understanding of the material and its relevance to their lives.

Community service and leadership development are integral parts of our academic program. We encourage students to put their faith into action by participating in service projects and leadership opportunities both within the school and in the wider community. These experiences help students develop a sense of responsibility, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world.

This event is not just a celebration of school spirit but also an opportunity for students to reconnect with alumni and celebrate their shared faith and values. The excitement and preparation leading up to homecoming create a vibrant atmosphere that fosters unity and pride among the students.

The homecoming experience at Cornerstone Christian School offers students numerous benefits, both socially and spiritually. Participating in various activities, such as the homecoming parade, pep rallies, and the big game, helps students build lasting friendships and develop a sense of belonging. These experiences also provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and leadership skills, contributing to their overall personal growth and confidence.

Moreover, homecoming at Cornerstone Christian School reinforces the importance of community and fellowship within a Christian context. The event often includes worship services, prayer gatherings, and other faith-based activities that remind students of the school’s core values. By engaging in these meaningful traditions, students not only have fun but also strengthen their faith and commitment to living out Christian principles in their everyday lives.

Art

Art classes in a Christian high school provide immense benefits to students by fostering their creativity and encouraging self-expression within a faith-based environment. These classes allow students to explore their artistic talents while integrating Christian themes and values into their work. This unique blend of art and faith helps students to develop a deeper understanding of their spirituality and how it can be expressed through various artistic mediums.

In addition to spiritual growth, art classes contribute significantly to the cognitive and emotional development of high school students. Engaging in creative activities enhances critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and emotional intelligence. Students learn to analyze and interpret visual information, which can improve their academic performance in other subjects. Moreover, creating art can be a therapeutic process, helping students to manage stress and express their emotions in a healthy and constructive way.

Furthermore, art classes in a Christian school promote a sense of community and collaboration among students. Working on group projects and sharing their artwork with peers fosters a supportive environment where students can learn from and inspire each other. This sense of community aligns with Christian principles of fellowship and mutual support, helping students to build strong, positive relationships and develop a sense of belonging within their school community.

High School Chapel

Chapel services are integral to deepening the spiritual growth of high school students by providing a dedicated time and space for worship and reflection. These services offer students a regular opportunity to step away from their academic and social pressures and focus on their relationship with God. Through prayer, worship songs, and sermons, students can connect with their faith on a deeper level and find spiritual nourishment that sustains them throughout their daily lives.

Additionally, Chapel serves the wider community by participating in the Shoebox fundraiser and going to Atlanta to help distribute the Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This fosters a sense of community and belonging among students. Gathering together for worship and giving helps to build a supportive and unified school environment where students can share their faith experiences and encourage one another. This communal aspect of Chapel services reinforces the Christian principle of fellowship and allows students to form meaningful relationships based on shared spiritual values.

Chapel services also provide valuable opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and actively participate in their faith community. Whether through leading worship, reading scripture, or sharing personal testimonies, students can take on roles that enhance their spiritual growth and confidence. These experiences not only deepen their faith but also prepare them to be active and engaged members of their church and broader community in the future.

Jr. and Sr. Beta Club

At Cornerstone Christian School, the Junior and Senior Beta Clubs are prestigious organizations that recognize and promote academic excellence, leadership, and service among our students. Membership in these clubs is a testament to a student’s dedication to their studies and their commitment to living out Christian values in everyday life. By participating in Beta Club activities, students have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, serve their community, and grow in their faith.

The Junior Beta Club, for middle school students, and the Senior Beta Club, for high school students, both emphasize the importance of academic achievement and character development. Members are encouraged to uphold high standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Through various projects and initiatives, such as community service events, tutoring programs, and leadership workshops, students learn to apply their talents and skills in ways that honor God and benefit others.

Being part of the Beta Club at Cornerstone Christian School also fosters a sense of fellowship and camaraderie among students. Members work together on service projects, support each other in their academic pursuits, and share their faith journeys. This collaborative environment helps students build strong, lasting relationships and develop a sense of responsibility and compassion.
